What can I expect at my first visit?
Your initial visit will be up to 90min in which will consist of a thorough assessment of your health including detailed information about your medical history, family history, diet and lifestyle, medications and/or supplements. A treatment plan will also be given with instructions. Subsequent follow ups are booked check in on your health progress and to make any changes to the plan as needed.
Is Naturopathic Medicine covered by OHIP?
No, Naturopathic Medicine is currently not covered under OHIP, however most private insurance companies do offer coverage. Please check with your plan to see if you have coverage.
Do you accept direct billing for insurance?
Yes we offer direct billing to most major insurance companies. Please contact check if your company is on our list!
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to make the appointment, please contact us 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Any late cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee.
I am not in Ontario, can I still book an appointment?
As per regulations, our services are only available to Ontario residents or those that are physically in the province of Ontario at the time of the visit.
Are Naturopathic Doctors regulated in Ontario?
Yes, Naturopathic Doctors are regulated in Ontario. The Naturopathy Act, 2007 is Ontario legislation that regulates naturopathic doctors. They are governed by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). This ensures that they follow established professional standards.
